October Round Up

October has been a whirlwind of a month. we've accomplished a lot in the last thirty one days and are going to our first ever, monthly round up! It will give you a look at the books we read and our thoughts on each. We promise no spoilers. We want you to make the call for yourself as to whether a book is worthy of your attention. These are just a few we explored over this month.

We also tried our hand at writing a novel. Ekk. Wish us luck!

1. Just Friends by Elizabeth Grey💎💎💎
"Just Friends" was out first read by Ms. Grey and we aren't sure how we feel about it. Honestly, which is why we haven't written a review. It captured our attention but there were things that really effed with our brains, such as sexual harassment, etc.  Take a look at it yourself and see if its worth a read.

2. Fix Her Up by Carey Heywood 💎💎💎💎
This was a great read! It was funny and heart warming! I really wish a hot carpenter would offer to help me renovate a house after a bad divorce. It would also be acceptable for this man to have a six pack and a kind heart.

3. Well Met by Jen DeLuca 💎💎💎💎💎
We read this book via audiobook. It can be hit or miss depending on the performance of the narrator, but I really loved this book. I'm looking forward to reading more by Jen!

4. Born to be a Cowboy by R.C Ryan 💎💎💎💎💎
This is the third in the series by Ryan and we received a copy via Net Galley! We gave it five stars because it kept us entertained. Its more of a western romantic suspense. So if you love a bit of mystery, this might be for you!
